Client-facing within your first two weeks. There is no layer between you and the founder you are advising, which means the interesting work arrives early and so does the accountability.

You will hold several clients at once across different stages. People who need one deep problem at a time tend to find this draining rather than energizing.

No pyramid to climb
No leverage model to feed and no up-or-out clock. Progression follows the quality of your judgment, which takes as long as it takes.
